As the end of the school year approaches, Blue Ridge School’s annual Honor Service recognized both past achievements and future leaders. The Class of 2023 processed into Gibson Memorial Chapel and took their seats in the place of honor, flanking the faculty.
This year’s Faculty Award was presented by Student Body President Selorm Kalitsi ’23 to History Teacher Hampton Kennedy. The award is presented to a faculty member who exemplifies the Blue Ridge School mission of helping boys reach their potential, who has made a significant difference in the lives of students, and who will be respectfully and fondly remembered in years to come.
The Chapel Service Award, presented by Reverend Joseph Varaksa, went to Smith Hopper ’23.
Numerous underclassmen were recognized for their contributions to the campus community and presented with the annual Citizenship Awards.
